Do I need to bring my own lock?

We do sell locks in our store, but if you have a lock, you are most welcome to use it.

What type of lock can I use?

Any type of lock can be used.  Pad lock, disc lock, keyed lock, combination lock.  As long as it is at least 1 1/4″.

Are my contents insured?

You must provide your own insurance for your contents.  The facility does not insure your contents.

What type of security is there?

The facility has 24/7 video surveillance.

What hours can I access my unit?

You have access 24/7 to your unit.  Preferably not after 10 pm.

What are your office hours?

We are open Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Saturday 8 am to 2 pm, closed Sundays and Statutory Holidays.

If I don't require a unit for a full month, is it prorated?

No.  Rental periods are for a full month, but not necessarily a calendar month.  If you rent on the 10th of the month then your rent is due on the 10th of each month.  If you require a short extension at the end of your rental period, there is a daily rate of $10/day + HST up to the maximum of one month rent.

What happens if I don't pay for my storage unit on time?

You will be locked out of your storage unit if rent is not paid by the due date. Lock will not be removed until rent and late fees are paid in full. If rent is not paid for 60 days, the contents are removed and sold.

Are there things I cannot store in my unit?

  • Hazardous materials
  • Plants
  • Food

Do I need to put mouse control in my unit?

Yes. Mice can get into anywhere. I’m sure you have had them in your home. We do put in mouse control in each empty unit, but once you take over a unit you are responsible for putting mouse control in as we no longer have access.
